Transport Links

Seven Kings is a historically well connected town. The area has been served by Seven Kings railway station since 1899.

• Seven Kings railway station – Historically on the Great Eastern Railway line and on the Elizabeth line since its inauguration in 2022, Seven Kings station provides an easy commute into The City. The station is located roughly 8 miles from Liverpool Street station and takes an average of 20 minutes in travelling time.
• Newbury Park Underground Station (Central line) – The nearest London Underground tube station, Newbury Park, is located on the Central line. It allows for an efficient commute to The City and The West End with Liverpool Street Station and Oxford Circus Station being just 27 and 36 minutes away respectively.
• A12, A406 and M11 – The North Circular Road (A406) is easily accessible from Seven Kings, offering convenient road connections to other parts of London. It connects with the Eastern Avenue (A12) and the M11 at Redbridge Roundabout, giving easy access to Stratford (via the A406) and Canary Wharf (via the A13 from Beckton Roundabout). The M11 connects to the M25 and provides a speedy route (depending on traffic) to Stansted Airport.
• Stansted Airport – Easily accessible via the M11 motorway, Stansted Airport serves over 160 destinations across Europe, Asia and Africa. It is located near Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex, northeast of London.

There’s plenty of choice when it comes to schooling, with both independent and state run primary and secondary schools within the local area.

Outdoor Space

• Seven Kings Park – A large open space containing sports facilities such as tennis courts, cricket facilities, sports ground and a bandstand. More features include formal rose beds and plenty of seating for relaxing whilst out for a long stroll – the Park is a big hit with dog walkers. The skate park in the southern end of the park is popular among children and young adults. There is also a children’s play area on site that is very popular at weekends with families.
• Westwood Recreation Ground – Westwood Park is a smaller open space and playground on Meads Lane. A medium sized recreation ground that enjoys a children’s play facility with a variety of play equipment and informal areas for casual sport and recreation. There are mature trees within this area which make for a perfect setting when enjoying a leisurely stroll.
• Valentines Park – Although not directly in Seven Kings, Valentines Park is located nearby and is easily accessible. This expansive park features beautiful gardens, ornamental lakes, boating lake, cafe and various sports facilities including tennis courts and a cricket pitch. It is an excellent destination for walks, jogging, picnics and outdoor sports.
